BOISE — Veterans have been tilling, fertilizing and watering away at Spaulding Ranch off of Cole Road thanks to a new University of Idaho Extension farming program. Harvest Heroes has been in the works for years, finally coming to fruition this year with a $744,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
